Las Vegas happened to be on the ski resorts route, so a vist to Sin City was a must. A quarter mile from our destination at Tanner Song’s home, the carrier bearing aligning the driveshaft gave way. Tanner’s friend, John Gagnebin, happened to have a mechanic’s shop at his home. So we limped there and was able to fix the driveshaft bearing the next day. I took advantage of his knowledge and hospitality to fine tune other mechanical things on MauiSkiBus.com, due to the fact that there was a lack of snow at the resorts that we wished to visit in Arizona and New Mexico.
Carolyn did some fine tuning on John’s home in the form of cleaning and cooking. I accused John of “mechanical sabotage” on MauiSkiBus.com to keep us at his home/shop! We had a delight meeting this man and still find it amazing that we broke down only a quarter mile from his home. MauiSkiBus.com drives on.
