Rings. First thought?…….. Diamond ring. Singular. Needs to be plural. Next thought……. telephone. Not a really a device that rings anymore, as there are too many ringtones that do not sound like a ring anymore. Maybe qualifies as rings. Next……. piston. Good for men, not much of a desire for most ladies. It does qualify as rings though. Another hint. These rings happen every four years…… oh….as in O…..lympics. Press release. Cy went from the sea to snow to see the five rings.
Not many ski areas have an easy access that actually starts from the sea. In fact, MauiSkiBus only knows of one, and has a Maui present for any that can help name another. The drive up to this resort made famous by the rings of the Winter Olympics of 2004 are north of the city of Van, as in North Van, BC. Add in some midwest base here and what pops up is why Cy had the Press release made public. Add some master skills of a Joeffery, place the five rings front and center, see that the sisters of Boyne are pure, and what is emitted is Cypress Mountain, one of the many sisters that are of the Boyne clan and the only one with Olympic honors, and a real base at the sea, next to the might Pacific.
This adventure that MauiSkiBus is on has new surprises nearly everyday and Cypress Mountain was not anywhere near a dis-appointment. From the front row parking, the happy attitude of a lift operator from Rio when he recieved a MauiSkiBus sticker, to the sweet marketing ladies and the photos they took. Plus a fireplace that looked better than the Olympic slopes outside and definitly better than the ski patrol snow removal work. An invite was given and MauiSkiBus had the oppurtunity to meet some fantastic employees of Cypress Mt., partial sight of the 2004 Winter Olympics. The five rings of the Olympics stand proud here, next to the proud skiers/snowboarders that drive from the sea below to the snow of Cy’s Press release.
